[RESULTS] Summer Character Design Contest

Thanks to everybody that joined and helped out!

Choose one of the 5 given smoothies;

 Design and draw a character based on the chosen smoothie;

 Upload the drawing to Deviantart and mention the contest in the artist comment;

 Leave a comment on this journal with a link to your drawing.

All valid entries will be added to the contest entry collection. 

 Only 1 entry with 1 character per person;

The character must be designed specifically for this contest;

 Both digital and traditional drawings are accepted;

 Both Human and non-human characters are accepted;

 You get to keep the character you've created;

 No bases, no traces;

 No explicit nudity or violence;

1st Prize  500

 1 free commission from brainlessbunny 
 1 illustration of 1-2 characters from sorceress23 
examples: In the forest | Monica and Eunice

2nd Prize  300
1 fullbody of 1-2 characters without background from sorceress23 
examples: Yoshida Kai | Little lion man | Henryk and Panea

3rd Prize  200
 1 bust of 1-2 characters without background from sorceress23 
examples: Luka and Kurtis | Rose

(unlocks at 30 entries)

 Visual connection between chosen smoothie and character design;

 Effort and presentation (avoid really rough sketches, badly erased lines, sloppy colouring, bad quality scans or photos, bad composition);

 Creativity (try to come up with interesting solutions, just plastering patterns and colors over a character is not the way).

I will choose a winner, based on these criteria, together with the awesome brainlessbunny and Chibimouto-chan!

 Take into account the colour and shape of the smoothie you chose;

 Make your entry clean and simple in a way that best shows off your character;

 Choose a pose that shows personality; props and simple backgrounds can also help.

           

You can do so by spreading word about the contest or donating points for the prize pool!
You can participate even if you donate (donating does not entitle you to any special treatment of course).
