Beautiful in form, beautiful in style and so tasteful. Alone this speaks volumes to the fragility of life and how everything, when balanced, moves forward day by day. It's a perfect photo. Beautiful job - you are truly a talented photographer. And I hope your sister is happily married by now, if not, please let me know! Cheers!
For some reason, the way she's sitting makes me think that you could easily pick her up bridal-style (one arm under the knees and the other around the back). She's basically in the "carrying pose" already, all you'd need to do is put your arms there and lift her up.
I'd imagine she'd either freak out or be really impressed. Maybe both.
This may very well be my favorite picture on DA. I commented back on Feb 17th, the day before I was taken to the hospital with only four hours to live. I was blessed to survive a condition that kills 85% of the people who have it, but, during that time, I had forgotten to fave this, and had despaired of ever seeing it again. I found it tonight by random browsing, and I have marked it both on DA and on my online faves (and, if you don't mind, using it for my wallpaper too). The beauty of this photograph cannot be underestimated or over-described. It defies the power of language, and that means any language. If poetry can be photographed, and if Beauty (in the sense that Plato described in his Dialogues) can be truly rendered in Art, then you have accomplished both of those things in this one.
Thank you so much for such a comment, you don't know what it means to me. I'm very glad you like it. I was thinking of reshooting it, because I love the softness of it, the story it tells, but I can see so many imperfections (the background for instance).
It's also good to hear about the miracles of medicine. I'm sorry for the late reply, I'm just back from vacation
Thanks for the reply. Although I do not see the imperfections in such a perfect photograph, I applaud the possibility of extending the story, and the images of the model's beauty, even further. Especially if she keeps the same hose on, and the shoes off.
This picture isn't actually very good, the idea is nice (so is the model), but the background was not, that's why I blurred every thing in post editing. So now the depth of field feels a bit strange, I know... Thanks for the comment
THere are lots and lots of photographs of women in pantyhose/stockings, but this one makes them look lame by compairson . . . it is if you had invented the concept, and everything else by others is but a bad imitation
I agree wholeheartedly. sorry you are not on da any more, but I understand the reason why. However, we are still in total agreement on this photograph.
That is enough to make any one blush... Thank you so much. This picture was inspired by an advert for tights I saw in the metro once. I have others from this session, but basically they are the same, this one was the best of the lot.

Glad you picked this one out of my gallery to comment upon
but hmmm maybe the lighting and the background

I think you got in the right category, tho.
I love shooting her
Nevermind the fact that she's way too pretty for me. ^_^;
