My goodness, I never knew you could do that to an egg! Is it raw or cooked? I imagine it's raw because you run the risk of cracking the egg if you boil it. The beauty of it is in its delicate state. Such precision. Excuse me while I stalk your gallery.

I foresee a kitchen counter splattered with eggs in my future...Sweating a little...

yeah right xoBriseisxo... the all eggs that I carved with a knife or with a drill, is in a raw state ^_^

I don't know much about this sort of thing, but I would hazard a guess that he blows the innards out and washes the egg before carving. That way it won't spoil!

Ah, that would make sense! I was thinking along the lines of temporary art like ice sculptures. Sheesh. Forget about me trying to carve into that thing. I think I would crush it just from holding it still!

Hmm, now I feel stupid... maybe drained, and the "white" is subsurface shell? Anyway, an eggshell will stand up to quite a lot. If in doubt, you could always try ostrich eggs! konstantinnet.deviantart.com/g…

Hello, I'm from the future. Greborast was being sarcastic! It's pretty obviously a hard-boiled egg. You couldn't crush it just by holding it.

I didn't mean crushing it from holding it. I meant that it could crack in the boiling water.

You must have some incredibly skilled hands to carve that intricately in something so thin and delicate. Beautiful work!
