Ike: Wow, magic is a truly amazing thing.  Could you even figure out the baby’s gender?

Doctor: Well, we can, and we can’t.  Our magic isn’t perfectly accurate on that account.  Would you like me to take a crack at it though?

Elincia: Oh, we decided we’d like to be surprised!  Right, Ike?

Ike: Yeah, I was only curious.

Doctor: Alrighty then.  But I would still advise regular check-ups and proper prenatal care.  Some issues do not become apparent or detectable to us until later and others we cannot look for until the baby is born.  If anything unusual occurs, don’t hesitate to summon me here again.

Azura: Well, yes and no.  Yes in that I don’t feel sick or anything, but no in that I have something to tell you and I should’ve told you sooner.  And it worries me.

Leyon: Oh?

Azura: Yeah…  Leyon, I…  I’m pregnant.

Azura: It’s true!  I know, it’s going to be hard to deal with…

Azura: Oh, I want to be happy!  I would love for us to be parents!  The thing is, we have so many duties, you especially.  You constantly have to go back and forth between here and Aracion, because you’re both the leader of the Royal Knights and the Consort of Elhorhi.  A child will only add onto the difficult responsibilities you already have.  I worry about how it will affect you in the long run, as well as our child.  He or she may not get to see you often at all.  And I want you to be a father like you’re supposed to be if we have a child.  I simply don’t like the idea of our child not having much of a father figure…  Just like I never had one.  I might not have shunned men as much as I did if I had had one…

Leyon: Ah, I see.  I understand how you feel and can see why.  You’re right, it will be hard to adjust to this.  But will do everything I can to do so.  In fact, Queen Louise will probably think it a good idea to let me spend more time here once our child is born.  And then once our child is old enough, he or she can visit me a lot and vice versa.  Doesn’t that sound great?

Azura: Oh, that’s good to hear!  And interesting, I also wish I knew why that happened.  I felt like I was going to puke my whole stomach up!

Leyon: I was really worried too.  I seriously thought my wife was getting extremely sick.

Castle Elhorhi Physician: Ha, I bet!  What researchers have come up with though, is that this acute morning sickness appears to be more common in women who are expecting multiple babies at once.
