"Erebus, Erebus!" Adrians voice carried loud and clear across the flattened plains--It was one of the few times the Avarian wholly and truly sounded like a child. Voice high pitched and filled with a childlike wonder so touched by an unadulterated joy that could only belong to the pure mind of an oblivious child. Registering the voice as familiar the large blade-winged emperor paused in motion, turning his mighty head to gaze down into the sparkling eyes of Adrian. The red and green child had adopted a passion for literature through his teachings and often sought him out to further his studies.
"Yes, little one?" Erebus questioned, voice smooth portraying both power and gentleness in a single tone. Adrian's eyes lit up at the acknowledgement as if he had expected to be ignored.
"Can we read again?" It held the same anticipation and happiness as before, words flowing with energy from the tip of his tongue. Erebus paused and cocked
