[ the rift - phase 3] specters.
This was....nothing like before. The fear felt between everyone and everything surrounding the Nothing. It creeps it's way in and taints those that are too weak to withstand it's pull. This can be seen as much by everyone still staring and those still fighting. It will be seen by those that still have yet to witness such a disturbance. Kalomira shrieks in audible horror when she witnesses the ground falling out from under hoof. It pulls at her, yanks her form to the ground as if she were actually falling. It rips her apart from the mind and causes the woolyne to crumble into a curled heap of sobs upon the ground. Pouflon and woolyne alike can do little for the one that has fallen, perhaps far too easily. It helps naught for her previous disappointment at herself for what she had done. For past fears and mistakes she can't help, but cling to even in her sleep. A pair of pouflon hover over her; guarding the fallen woolyne's form as they do their best to pull her from thoughts to no

How were they going to fight? This was no mere...being. This was massive; celestial. It was nothing and everything at once. It was it's own bridge between realms old and new; of those still being made and those that were dying. It sent a chill through many of the being's souls at it's feet. It terrified Mishka to look upon Nothing. To see everything and yet, nothing all at once. To know there was something here and far too much to really count what it was. It left the mind drained and eyes downcast to the ground beneath hooves as he works to figure out what to even do, or how to do it. The hand of another upon his shoulder tips a head up to one side to glance over at his brother beside him. Deipneus gives him a smile and pulls the other close beside him. His hand slips from a shoulder to card fingers together and the touch alone settles a mind clouded with the buildup of fear for everything up to this point. It's warm, it's familiar, and it's something both woolyne could use in

[the rift - phase 2] dual skies.
When she finally wakes from sleep, it's to unfamiliar lands. Paws rumble the dirt beneath them as Theoni continues to lay there and stare at the ground for a moment longer. Blinking away the confusion within a skull as everything slowly begins to register. The swarm. Oh, the swarm!! That's right! She'd been flying with her drakern when it suddenly rushed the pair. Her drakern panics and with an awkward jerk she falls from their saddle and plummets to earth. It's before she even reaches the ground that the swarm sucks her in and now she's waking up here. Green hues dance across her vision; blinking in and out as yellow briefly before flickering off again. It looks similar to the corruption, but...not at the same time. Slowly gathering herself up, Theoni moves into a seated position and groans softly. Clothing dirty and disheveled from laying in the grass is brushed lightly with fingers when she manages to get them pulled over. She knew naught as to where her bow had fallen and a

[the rift - phase two] corruption's trace.
They have all come so far since the real fight against all of this had begun. They've managed to push the swarm of corruption back to the point that it seemed as though it has disappeared completely. All that was left now was to cleanse the lands this corruption still managed to cling to; at least that is what many woolyne are hoping was the only thing left of this. It does not take much for Pinny to find her herd once more and is thankful the beetlyss have calmed themselves enough to allow their companion back safely amongst them. It's such a sweet reunion as Pinny tends to each one and re-establishes the existing bond they have built up over the years with each great beetlyss and good timing too. Perhaps she can get them to help search for the lunar flowers the healing team has made a call across the lands for. It takes time; a long time. Long enough that Pinny was beginning to lose hope of ever finding even just one of them. A smaller beetlyss lead Pinny off to a small bloom

[the rift - phase two] swarm the bridge.
Tears begin to well up along the woolyne's eyes at the sight laid out before them. The surprise and confusion as the skies begin to clear, the sudden mass of gnuts as they overtake the bridge, and the pleas for help from those that were being surrounding by the masses. Mishka shouts between cupped hands around a mouth at the swarm to now avail. What can someone as small as he do about such a massive attack?! Hands rise up from his mouth to point palms to the skies above. Continued shouts full the air as sol lyss spills forth and spreads over as much of the gnut mass as one could. He was not very strong, but he wasn't quite weak either. Having many years to develop and perfect his lyss, Mishka was capable of dealing a decent hit against a few of the nearest gnuts. "We need to move in!!" a roar from his right breaks concentration and a lyss gaze glances off to look at his brother. "What if we get taken too??" Mishka's voice was barely loud enough to be heard over the roar of the

The beetlyss have been restless since all of this has started. Most have skittered off to hide, unwilling to come back out, and other's have banded together in destructive behaviors. Pinny was at a loss for what to do when their usual tricks didn't seem to help. Nearly being trampled beneath the massive paws of her great beetlyss friend had been the last straw and with one final look back at the raging bull, Isaak parts ways for the time being. There must be a way to stop this and she wasn't going to stop looking until she found it. Pinny's first stop would be to head into town. Surely there would be others that might have some ideas to help calm the beasts, or anything she might be able to do to help with the corruption. Despite living alone and separated from the majority of the population, Pinny was well adept at finding the knowledge of what was happening in the every day lives in town. Her occasional trips into town aided with this and even now was no different, however; the

Oh no, this was bad. This was very very bad. Of all the things that have been happening lately, why must Arcton also have a breach? Was there just not enough for them all to handle that now they have to watch out for on the run criminals as well? Percy could feel a headache coming as a paw reaches north to rub at sore temples. Many woolyne knew of this particular criminal trio and some have even crossed paths with them. Percy has never met any of the brothers, however; but he knew who they were all the same an they were bad news. "They are not going to be easy to find." the soft tone wanders into ears as Percy picks his gaze up to glance over at where Phytar was standing beside the table. "Aye, they were tough the first time. I can only imagine what they may be capable of now that they have their freedom again." Percy adds with a small shake of his head and brings both paws down to rest on the table top. The map spread across the table still lain open; candlelight dancing across
