I have been photographing the nude as a subject for art from the early months of 1977 on; it has been an incredible journey for me with discoveries at every turn of the road. And it keeps evolving. While I still occasionally use film, including the materials made by the Impossible Project, formerly know as Polaroid, most of my work is done digitally. And while I use Photoshop as part of the process, I use it only as I would have used the various tools in the darkroom. That means I use it to burn and dodge (darken or make lighter), correct exposure, crop and size and make color corrections, and finally, to spot out dust marks or blemishes. A long time ago I gave up trying to remake people and Photoshop has been no help at all. So we just to sit down and talk and do it right the first time.
