Three of the four nations of Oz have their own armies (Excluding Munchkin Country), which are called upon for use by The Wizard.

Quadling is a nation within Oz that has many different populations, but is most known for being the home of Glinda, The Good Witch. Quadling Country maintains a somewhat strong army, mostly used for stopping bandits and small proxy wars, such as with the Hammerheads. This army is loyal to Glinda, but swears their true allegiance to The Wizard, as all in Oz do.
