Ineptian Political Positions

Homeworld of Ideon Baize, Ineptia is primary a city planet, with the majority of its land being cities, most of the greenery existing in parks. Much of the planet is also covered in oceans, and fishing is one of the many industries of the world. The biggest city is also its capital city, Ineptolon.

Politically, the planet is governed by a democratic system, divided into several branches, each one with a unique function. The positions are as follows:

Legislators - Act as senators essentially, these are the most common of the High Government officials. They meet at least once a month to propose new laws and changes, as well as other general political discourse. Each legislator represents a small geographical part of the planet, and the people within that area.

Censors - Very similar to legislators, they also propose and enact laws, as well as being in charge of public works, and tasks such as taking a Census. Each censor also represents a small geographical part of the planet, except they take a more active role in their individual sectors.

Praetors - Essentially the "Supreme Court" of Ineptia, the Praetors interpret laws and determine if they are valid by the standards of the High Courts. They also handle many court cases, both civil and criminal.

Consuls - Often chosen from the Censors, Consuls act as high overseers within the government, functioning like governors for the planet.

Vice Noble - Essentially the vice presidents, these are chosen personally by the Noble.

Noble - The highest political position, essentially a president or prime minister for the entire planet, able to enact orders, although still balanced to the other government branches.
