General Laa Plaad

Laa Plaad was a General of the Separatist Army during the Clone Wars.

Plaad was in charge of a military operation on the planet of Andran, which had aligned itself with the Separatists, but still saw fighting from guerilla groups who supported the Rebublic. The planet was found to be a good source of several rare materials, and so a mining operation was set up to make use of it. Attacks on the facility became frequent, with the Republic themselves eventually attacking with a small force of clones. The larger scale battle, coupled with the disruptive mining caused the small planet's core to becomes unstable, and the planet ultimately broke apart. Plaad managed to survive and escape the battle.
