True. At the same time watching the animals before they get into the proper spot for taking a photo is always entertaining...if they aren't sleeping...which is more often than not. :no:

I like the red halo. You seized this opportunity well. I never get moon shots ;-)

This was lucky, but I was waiting for the sun to set and the moon to rise a little higher. This was taken shortly after dusk, so the red halo is partly a remnant of the sunset, and partly the refraction of light through a very thin cloud layer.
