You belong

You belong to the dew on the leaf and 

you belong to the flower that blooms 

you belong to the death of the flower and 

you belong to the sunlight that shines 

You belong to the motion that sweeps the water off the leaf and 

onto the ground and 

you belong to the earth where every cell in your body will one day return and

 you belong to the energy that causes the leaves to grow

 The sun to turn it green 

the water to quench its thirst and

 the gravity that brings it home you belong to the wind that blows 

The flower to the ground

 that rustles the trees

 you belong to what your eyes see and 

you belong to what your ears here and

 you belong to all of the things that you experience while you are alive
