Culicidae (VENOM/CLIFFWING ISLAND)

Description

Culicidae is a rather small island compared to continents like Pantala or Pyrrhia. It consists of a dense forest at the heart of the island and large cliffs jutting to the right side of the island:

1) VENOMWING CASTLE: The largest cliff on Culicidae. Behind the rocky and dangerous exterior of the cliff is the actual castle. Built inside, it is fortified from any enemies and from the rain that plagues the island. At the main entrance you enter a large hallway, ceiling curved upward with flying dragons (more specifically CliffWings) and clouds carved onto the ceiling, the clouds being painted over with gold. Along the sides of the main hallway are openings to smaller hallways and tunnels that lead up to the royal library, treasury, record department, her majesties private venomous/poisonous farm and so forth. At the end of the main hallway is a flight of twisting stairs guarded by armed VenomWings. This is the way to the throne room.
The throne room is a large room with statues of CliffWings found in the walls crevices. Most of these statues have large slashes on them, broken limbs as if some dragon tried to destroy these relics, likely the Queen herself who sits in a large cushioned throne, carved from stone and having intricate dragons and various events regarding CliffWing history engraved on it. Around the interior castle there are many vines and flowers as if the castle was overgrown. Rather, VenomWings prefer more greenery (as they once resided in the RAIN FOREST).

2) SHATTERED CLIFFS: A large cliff range that appears to be 'shattered' and is the current home of the VenomWings. Openings on the outside lead to tunnels going down into a large opening on the inside (as the cliffs are HOLLOW). Along the walls of the interior there are many holes, each a home for a VenomWing or their family. To scale up the walls/reach their homes, VenomWings managed to grow out vines from the sides to help aid with climbing. Like that with the castle, many flowers and plants are seen growing along the sides of the walls or inside the homes. Some homes even use moss as carpet!!
Typical VenomWing homes are rather large for their size (as they were carved out for CliffWings) and can usually house a good 3-5 VenomWings. Inside they are usually lushly adorned with vegetation and maybe with pillows also. Cubicles in the walls are used to hold scrolls or whatever other small trinkets they may have.
With the SHATTERED CLIFFS, the closer your home is to the ground, the higher your rank is as then you don't need to put in effort in trying to climb up to your home.

3) MARKET PLACE: A large and colorful marketplace found nestled in between the SHATTERED CLIFFS. The marketplace is filled with stalls, shielded both by the cliffs and the colorful tarp they usually have. In here, most VenomWings come down to buy luxury items or necessities like food. For the most part, here they sell jewelry, decorations and vegetation/flowers to 'spice up your home'. Stalls with rich shop keepers are usually carved at the BASE of the cliffs and generally those stalls hold quality products which many flock over to own.

4) BROKEN TEETH: Rugged small islands surrounding the 'tip' of the island. Here they used to be use as watch-towers for CliffWings, however they are of no use for VenomWings other than the occasional VenomWing which manages to brave over the water and live there.

5) RAIN FOREST: The heart of the island, it is a very dense forest teeming with plant and animal life. Inside, although beautiful, it is equally as dangerous with vines that you can get entangled in or the various creatures that house venom or poison. Original home to the VenomWings, it is now abandoned and left to grow as wild as before despite the occasional group of VenomWings which go out to hunt for food. In some areas of the RAIN FOREST, there are abandoned huts that used to belong to the VenomWings during the age of Pitohui and traps set around the area (due to the previous paranoia of CliffWings).
To the left side of the RAIN FOREST, some ClffWings may be found hiding in the forest, however it is NOT ideal seeing how they large bodies and wings can get snagged in between vines or other plant life.
Currently VenomWings are starting to push farther into the forest due to the rumors of CliffWings STILL BEING ALIVE.

6) SLATE MOUNDS: A relatively small island a couple miles off of the coast of the main land, it is now the home of the CliffWings. The mounds are inhospitable, hardly any vegetation or animals reside on the island. Only a couple flowers are housed on the inside. Although it is barren, the fact that the mounds face away from the main island work to the CliffWings advantage. CliffWings dug into the sides of the mounds which face away from the main land. On those sides, there are many carvings along the walls of the mounds depicting hopeful or dreary scenes relating their history and future as a tribe. Some of the walls are also painted with crushed up flowers.
Each CliffWing home is a small hole in the wall, barely having enough space for one CliffWing alone and is usually barren, no cushioning or anything in it. Just solid rock. Despite this, some try to make their homes look nicer through wooden beads strung on string, or adding feathers and maybe even painting the interior.
The largest hole (marked with colorful paintings and carvings) is the home of the leader. It is barely larger than an average home, however it is adorned with gorgeous carvings and feathers on the inside as well as some gold earrings or bracelets being strung across the walls (which they managed to keep when fleeing their home).
