Jane Bennet and Colonel Fitzwilliam

Lately I'm fancying fanfics in which Jane Bennet doesn't end up with Charles Bingley. Bingley is a nice character, but a little weak. Several authors have managed to make Colonel Fitzwilliam a much better match for angelic Jane. So here, a scene somewhat inspired by those AUs.
The next Regency drawing I make will be of Lizzie and her Mr. Darcy.

I like the way you rendered the characters, G, but I think you could improve on the background. If the window is the principal lightsource, the red curtains obscuring them should be much darker, almost black, as should the walls around them. As it is, the take the focus away from the characters, and they don't "pop" as much as they should...

I will see what can be done about that. This is much, much better! The change in value has really added a lot of depth to the image, and made the background fit better and the characters stand out more. Well done!
