If you neither have these things nor plan to get them immediately, you cannot participate. Period.

Digital Artists

• A drawing program with layers
  

Traditional Artists

• Plain paper (no lines or checks)
• Coloring tools / Drawing program with layers to color digitally
• Ability to scan your art or take a CLEAR photo

Here are some free drawing programs with layers: GIMP, FireAlpaca, Krita, Adobe Photoshop CS2

You can also scan pictures at a copy shop for a just few cents.

 How This Collab Works

1. Join or at least watch the group if you haven't already. If you don't do that before signing up, we will remind you.
2. Comment here saying that you want to join.
3. You get a random Pokémon from the host.
4. If you really really hate the Pokémon you were given, you can ask for a reroll once. You then have to accept the second Pokémon and can't get the first one back.
5. When all the normal Pokémon are taken, the shiny Pokémon will be unlocked.
6. Draw your Pokémon, following the Drawing Rules below.
7. Post your picture to your deviantART gallery and submit it to the current Type Collab folder in GottaDrawEmAll.
8. If you want to join but all Pokémon are taken already, you can sign up as a backup to replace people who drop out.
   
9. People who have finished their picture may get another Pokémon if there are any left. If no Pokémon are left, you can also sign up as a backup.
10. If something comes up and you can't do your entry anymore, you have to inform the host that you are dropping out.
11. THERE WILL BE NO EXTENSIONS.
    
12. If you neither submit your entry nor tell the host that you're dropping out, you will be banned from participating in the next collab and your name will stay published, so everyone can see that you fucked up. That's one strike. Two strikes get you banned from the entire group forever. Strikes from the Gen Collabs are still in effect.
13. By participating in this collab, you agree that you will never ever delete your picture. You may move it to Scraps or remove it from all folders so that it only appears in Browse -> All, but you will not delete it or put it in Storage.

 Drawing Rules: General

• The picture must be just the Pokémon on a transparent background.
• Tutorial: How to make a Transparent Background for Digital Artists

• Must be colored and shaded. 
  
•  The light source is in the top left, so the shading on your Pokémon is on the bottom right. 
  
• Minimum size: 500x500 pixels for small to average Pokémon. That means the shorter side of your picture is at least 500 pixels. 800x800 pixels for big Pokémon. (We will try to tell you this when you get assigned a big Pokémon, but we might forget. x_x It's best to always make it as big as you're comfortable drawing. THERE IS NO "TOO BIG".)
• Draw the Pokémon yourself, in your own style. No tracing.
• Traditional artists must use plain paper. No lines or checks.
  
• Ground based Pokémon must touch the ground somehow. Flying or levitating Pokémon can fly or levitate.
  
• No Gijinkas, anthros or anything else that isn't the actual Pokémon. (Design modifications to add realism are fine. But keep in mind that your Pokémon will be next to lots of cartoony Pokémon, so maybe don't overdo it.)
  
• If you need to put your signature and/or watermark on the picture in a way that covers the Pokémon, you will send a unsigned/unwatermarked version to the host without being asked.

If you want your name removed from the public list, just ask. Your message does not have to include the word "please", but it must be civil.
If you think you have a good excuse, you can also try to appeal the ban. You need an explanation which convinces me that it wasn't your own fault that you ended up on here and that it won't happen again. Example for an explanation that won't work: "I forgot!" Example for an explanation that will work: "I was too sick to go on the computer. Next time, I won't put it off until the last minute."
