Alola! And welcome back! The Generation 7 Collab begins now~
Please please please read the rules even if you still remember how the Generation Collabs work because some things have changed. I rewrote everything to make it shorter and better organized. ;v;
For those who weren't around back then, here's what the Generation Collabs look like when they're finished:
How This Collab Works
- Join or at least watch the group if you haven't already. If you don't do that before signing up, we will remind you.
- Comment here saying that you want to join.
- You get a random Pokémon from me.
- If you really really hate the Pokémon you were given, you can ask for a reroll once. You then have to accept the second Pokémon and can't get the first one back.
- Draw your Pokémon, following the Drawing Rules below.
- Post your picture to your deviantART gallery and submit it to the Gen 7 Collab folder in GottaDrawEmAll.
- If you want to join but all Pokémon are taken already, you can sign up as a backup to replace people who drop out.
- If something comes up and you can't do your entry anymore, you have to inform the host that you are dropping out.
- THERE WILL BE NO EXTENSIONS.
- If you neither submit your entry nor tell me that you're dropping out, you will be banned from participating in the next collab and your name will stay published, so everyone can see that you fucked up. That's one strike. Two strikes get you banned from the entire group forever.
- By participating in this collab, you agree that you will never ever delete your picture. You may move it to Scraps or remove it from all folders so that it only appears in Browse -> All, but you will not delete it or put it in Storage.
Drawing Rules
- Your picture must be SQUARE. That means the height and width must be the same number. How to do this:
- Digital artists: ...When you start your picture, make the width and height of the canvas the same number.
- Traditional artists: Cut your paper into a square before you start drawing. I don't know if this is necessary at all, but here are more detailed instructions??
- If your picture is not square, I will crop it and I have no problem with cutting off important parts.
- Minimum size: 500x500 pixels.
- Anything smaller will not be accepted.
- There is no "too big".
- Must be colored. No grayscale.
- Must have some kind of background. It doesn't have to be elaborate, the minimum requirement is a single matching color. (Example: Mienshao) No white, no transparent.
- If you need to put a watermark on the picture, you will send me an unwatermarked version without being asked.
- Do not add any text to the image. Signatures are okay.
- Traditional artists must use plain paper. No lines or checks.

- Draw the Pokémon in your own style. Absolutely no tracing!
- No Gijinkas, anthros or anything else that isn't the actual Pokémon. (Design modifications to add realism are welcome as long as it's still recognizable on first glance.)
- For Pokémon that have multiple forms (Lycanroc, Oricorio etc.), you can draw any combination of forms. One is enough, but including more would be preferred. (Example: Vivillon)
- If you want to draw a Shiny, you have to include a specimen with normal colors, too. (Example: Mightyena)
- Fun things you can do:
- Draw multiple of your assigned Pokémon (Example: Carbink)
- Include other Pokémon or even humans, as long as your assigned Pokémon is clearly the main focus (Examples: Tirtouga, Shinx, Mega Glalie)
- Be creative (Example: Whirlipede), but no dressing up as obscure references please

If you want your name removed from the public list, just ask. Your message does not have to include the word "please", but it must be civil.
If you think you have a good excuse, you can also try to appeal the ban. You need an explanation which convinces me that it wasn't your own fault that you ended up on here and that it won't happen again. Example for an explanation that won't work: "I forgot!" Example for an explanation that will work: "I was too sick to go on the computer. Next time, I won't put it off until the last minute."
