The Thaig bustled, hustled and everything in between, today was market down and every merchant from the deepest parts of the Thaig to the sky surrounded surface hawked their wares. This was what separated them from Orzammar or Kal Shirok, or even Kal Hirol, their trading posts for the surface dwarves was kept well and truly away from the stone. Here in Kal Baraast as it was now being called, there was no such stigma.
The populace moved and mingeled sure, there were those who would never understand the cloud gazers point of view, just as there were cloud gazers who would never understand the reluctance of the stone sense to not set their eyes upon the beauty the world above had to offer, but now it was brought up as nothing more than a rowdy light hearted debate in a tavern.
Of course it helped that the leader of the Thaig, as reluctant as he was to be such existed in both worlds. Brim Helmi was a good leader and it was his reluctance to be seen as such that made him perfect for the job
