Well, after two years and a half of dodging it, my turn has come: I caught covid. It's day three and I’m finally feeling bad – which is an improvement on VERY bad. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem to have spread further than my throat, so my lungs are safe; however, the symptoms are all kind of nasty. From here under the weather I cannot stress this enough: GO AND GET A BOOSTER DOSE OF VACCINE AS SOON AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE TO YOU. This sickness sucks big time, we have an instrument to at least lessen its severity, so let’s use it. And yes, you may be lucky and get light symptoms, but do you really wanna test your luck?

I’m trying my best not to teach others how to live. To be more open to different points of view and not just go and impose mine as the only viable one (despite the amount of data, precedent analysis and overthinking that's behind it). I’m truling making an effort to learn to agree to disagree. BUT. To those who “Harry potter is my childhood!”. Those who “I adore my LGBTQ+ friends”, and then went and watched the latest Fantastic Beasts at the cinema despite Rowling’s ongoing shitstorm (and the queerbaiting everybody could see coming from 100 km away), rather than waiting for it to be shared on streaming platforms. Those who keep buying the official merch instead of the unofficial creations of unaffiliated artisans. Those who keep dishing out over $100 per day per person to visit the theme parks. Those who “separate the oeuvre from the author”, but still buy the books rather than pirating the PDFs. Those who “don’t believe in boycotting as a way to protest”. Those who “Then we should

In a nutshell: a very prestigious publication offers a cover feature to the First Lady of a country that’s been war-torn for almost half a year, in a time when the international public opinion is drifting away from the atrocities that the invading forces are perpetrating. Was she supposed to turn it down? And why? Just because it’s not Time, it’s not Frobes, it’s a “fashion mag”? I think the collective uproar over the Vogue cover story stems from the die-hard prejudice that fashion and everything in its orbit are inherently reductive and frivolous, because it’s – you guess it! – considered “feminine”. This mindset is deeply rooted in misogyny, and if you’re buing into it, you might want to stop for a moment and confront how you’ve internalised it. Or, if you’re just deliberately looking for any excuse to suck up to the Kremlin’s smear campaign against Ukraine, at least be aware that y’all sound like sexist pricks. International outreach is part of the war effort. Olena Zelenska has

Wow, great shots, great art!

AMAZING gallery!! :gallery:

I'd like to practice some character drawings from some of your photos, if you'll allow me

Gorgeous aesthetic you have. I like the motto. Reminds me of something Johnny Weir (the skater) once said. Best advice.

Thank you so much (and sorry for the super late reply!)

The quote is taken from Westworld, is Dolores Abernathy's catchphrase, so to speak. I just tweaked it a little to fit my vision. I'm glad you took notice of that, though!
