So it's not quite tuesday yet (its 11.20pm), but it doesn't look like there are anymore entries, so's it's now closed for judging! For all of you who didn't get a chance to enter because you were busy, or jsut didn't want to do this comp, then don't fear! I will probs do another after xmas (doing something different), and the winner will get a free piece of jewellery

So i'm going to tell y'all how the judging will be done....

I'm the judge and i'll be marking on a number of things. I totally have a system, but god knows if i'll stick to it! Here is the system...Basically, i have a list of criteria, and each have points for each catergory (for example, i will give a score to each design from 1-10 [not using the numbers once, so more than one can get 10 or 9] for the originality.) Here are the sections as follows (i won't include how many points are given for each piece) -

Complexity of the design
Realistic-ness of the design (how possible it will be to make it)
Clarity of the design (drawing and written parts included)
Likeability of the design
How much you've matched the criteria of the competition
Originality of the design
The drawing itself (this is the smallest part - only 5 points)
The appeal to myself to make the design
Unusuality of the design

I haven't looked at any of the designs in much detail, so as not to gain favourites from the start. I have no idea who the winner will be, but i will let you know when i decide! If you want to suggest other points to consider in the judging then please feel free to comment. I should be done with the judging within a few days, so keep your eyes open for the winners journal!

If i use your designs later, then the finished product will be availible to you, the designer, before anyone else. If the designer doesn't want it, then it will be available to all who entered, before the general public.
I'll only use a design submitted if the designer gives me permission. If you definitely, absolutely, never-in-a-million-years don't want me to use you're design then you can add it on the bottom of the note with your submission</b>. I won't be too upset, promise

List of materials and where i get them from.
Pocketwatch parts, wings, keys - ebay (you can also use etsy)
Fabric, ribbon, lace, general haberdashery things - any haberdashers, material stall, or ebay
Beads - a selection of beads shops and ebay
Clay - i use fimo clay, which can be purchased at (nearly) any art shop, or quite a few online sites.

Please note, that i can no longer respond to all comments asking how i make things, or where i get my stuff from. Please use your initiative with searches and read the above notes ~ You can find tutorials for this kind of stuff on here, so please look before asking.
