For the last months I've really gotten into using AI as a creative outlet. I know that there is a lot of discussion about ownership, services exploiting artists and I think the sceptics have a point. So what I am doing now is that I using only my original photos as a starting point - the AI is just a tool to reinterpret them. You can see the results under my new profile: https://www.deviantart.com/digitaldirectdrive It's been really fun transforming simple makeshift outfits into elaborate scifi suits and single color backgrounds into hangars, labs and server rooms. It is also interesting to give the AI some leeway and get inspired by how the AI interprets the features of the models in the shot. Based on the Digital Opium set. In search for new inspiration I've been checking out AI image generation projects and after some experiments with Midjourney I've moved on to Stable Diffusion. You can check out my creations on a seperate DeviantArt profile - Those Wired Dreams. I've always been very sceptical of art generated with AI. At the same time it was interesting to learn how this works at all. Now I have more control with Stable Diffusion I can even generate NSFW content. Check it out if you like.
