The Rest of Us

Hello.  So, you may be wondering why Jeffrey Donovan is in this poster. Well, the answer is simple: he's going to be to fixing TLOU Part II's story. I watched the whole game from beginning to end, and I was, like the rest of you, displeased. I mean, I understand that they were trying to interpret hate and revenge would have consequences, but their ending had a poor showing of that, in my opinion, especially Joel's death. I mean, I agree he had it coming, but he should not have had to die the way he did. And, sad as it is, I felt like Dina should've been the one to get killed. Don't get me wrong, I liked her relationship with Ellie, but that, in itself, is the key to fixing the mess of a story, which is where Mark comes in.

He will be portrayed by Jeffrey Donovan as Dina's older brother, Mark. The story between the two of them will be complicated, but after Abby killed her, though I'm still trying to figure out what reason she could have for that, he'd be at the point where he'd turn twice as vicious and vengeful as Ellie had become, if not worse, which would make it hard for them to see eye-to-eye when they do see each other. And like the trailers were SUPPOSED to show, Joel will travel with Ellie to help her track down Dina's killers and eliminate them. To make it more personal, you'd instead play between Ellie and Mark rather than Abby. Other than that, I am still finalizing the story, but I believe it is already leagues better than the final product. Still, I'd like to hear your input on how we can make this story be what its original predecessor could not be: a true mark of storytelling at its finest. Anyone who can agree with me, I'm all ears.
