The Owl House S.U.B. - Kayla Wittebane

Kayla's tale is a rather tragic one. She wasn't always a person. She wasn't even herself. It started when Belos had escaped to the Human Realm. During his desperation for a new body to sustain himself after the magic for it was long gone, Belos stumbled upon a rather pleasant surprise: a vial of Titan Blood! As far as he knew, it was the only one left in the Human Realm, carefully preserved. But his deteriorating condition forced him to swallow it and renew his human form. However, he drank only small amounts, attempting to pace himself.

Very much aware of the danger Luz, Hunter, and the others posed to him, Belos created a little girl with the Titan Blood and the very bile he was slowly melting into. He sent her to make sure it was safe and report back to him. But when she got too far away from him, the girl had lost her memory and was lost out in the cold rain. It wasn't long before Luz and Hunter found her, bringing her inside to keep her warm.

As she stayed with Camila, who already tackled the challenge of raising six children under the same roof, Hunter gave her the name Kayla. She came to adore the new name and her new life, having forgotten all about Belos. However, she would soon see that she wasn't as safe as she thought, and neither were Luz or her friends...
