Bio: Penny is 6 years old and the adopted younger sister of Bryce Gideon, although it's unknown if she came from the real world or if she was born in the Infinity Train like the other residents of the never-ending locomotive. For as long as she could remember, she's always lived in the Orphanage Car with Ms. Tabitha, a woman who had a rough time trusting the train's passengers as they don't always turn out to be trustworthy. As she was raised, she tended to be shy around new faces coming to adopt her, which impeded her progress on being adopted more often than not. Despite it, she's also imaginative and eager to play games with Ms. Tabitha and was always comfortable with her giving her the care and attention she needed. That's the way things always were in her life until Bryce Gideon arrived at The Orphanage Car.

When he arrived, he was grievously injured and was sent to the Orphanage's doctor to get him patched up. During this, Penny was checking with Ms. Tabitha to see if he had come early to adopt her ahead of adoption day. Not certain about the situation, Ms. Tabitha told her that he just needed to be taken care of with how hurt he was. Beyond that, it's unknown if it was his plan. Once the check-up was finished with Bryce being told to take a rest until the next day, Ms. Tabitha confronted him and tried to determine if he was someone to be trusted. Despite being told what happened prior to ending up in this place, Ms. Tabitha still did not trust him until she saw a picture of him and his parents in his jacket pocket. Knowing she could trust him as he proved his word, Ms. Tabitha asked a favor of him to adopt Penny the next day. Initially, he refused as he didn't consider himself responsible, but Ms. Tabitha told him that she just wanted to give her a home as her failed attempts to do so made her feel more and more like a failure. After some consideration, Bryce agreed to her favor.

The next day, Bryce came to adopt Penny, finding her just across the hallway. When he saw her shyness, he tried to make her feel comfortable enough to be around him and decided to wait for her to come to him. Eventually, Penny reached Bryce and hugged him as he returned the hug, saying "I'm not going anywhere yet. Not without you." This made Penny happy that Ms. Tabitha helped her get adopted. From then on, she'd go on with Bryce to find a way off the train and to Chicago, where her new life would begin...
