Hello. Recently, I've been hearing a lot about Stella, and I've decided to look at her myself. Taking a look at special footage from what was previously Final Fantasy Versus XIII, I have this to say: "WHY DID YOU GET RID OF HER SQUARE ENIX, HUH?! Noctis clearly had better chemistry with her than Luna, I must admit, and you sacked that opportunity anyway? As Ardyn would say, 'Such a pitiable waste.' Unfortunately, that question remains unanswered to me. Equally fortunately, I get to work on my take of Final Fantasy XV, taking in Episode Ardyn to account, that is. Speaking of, I felt this footage in particular was familiar to me, so I decided to do some fun comparison here. As a result, I got a brainstorm coming up as to Stella's character. So here's a little synopsis you should expect on my story for it.
Having lost his beloved Aera, betrayed by his brother Somnus, and stewed in his prison on the isle of Angelgard, filled with hatred for the Royal Family and the people that believed Somnus' lies for 2,000 years, Ardyn had declared war on the Lucians. But of all the Lucians who lived in this darkest hour, only one was spared and allowed his company to travel amongst the Accursed: Stella Nox Fleuret.
Years later, Stella had matured into a fine young woman and soon crosses paths with Prince Noctis. By the time they knew about each other, however, Stella had been told the truth by the brother of the Founder King, inciting her to develop a new covenant to overlook the Kingdom in the King's stead by his side. Having been personally trained by Ardyn himself, Stella begins a new set of followers based upon Ardyn's Covenant and his ability to "heal" the people after the Lucis/Niflheim treaty ended in Insomnia's invasion by Daemons to improve Lucis under the God of Light. Once Noctis discovered this covenant via Ignis, he did not approve of their practice of healing the people at the expense of their own health, and thus sought to engage the leader of this covenant, only to find a familiar face to haunt him. And so, a new war for Lucis begins...
Just so you know, Stella wouldn't be counted as a villainess in this story, just a fallen hero who believed in doing what she felt was right. Although, truth be told, I don't know if I got her character right. And also, her and Noctis' eyes will glow red just like in Versus XIII as they were supposed to. By the by, after hearing her english voice, I really felt like it was Alyson Stoner back then. I don't know. What do you guys think?
P.S. The full title is "History Repeats Itself", but I couldn't type in all of the words.
