Hello world.  I hope you are all doing well in your respective areas.  Thanks to all the new followers and old for you continual support.  
However, I regret to inform everyone that it seems that the contributors have disappeared.  The reason why your work may not be going through is because it seems that little ole me and possibly another soul are the only soul who is taking a vote on them.  
I am just a contributor, and I don't have the power to either make new contributors or change any existing options.

Therefor, I regret to inform all that read this, this group is on hiatus until further notice. I hope that the founder and co-founder will come back to revive this group, because it would be a sad shame to see it go away.

Hello, dAGI members!

I founded this group two years ago when dA was all a-twitter about this newfangled GROUPS thing and how neat it was. I did it on a whim, out of a deep love for this period in illustration, and dreamed of getting maybe as many as 100 members to help collect information and art in this style. I had been scouring dA for years in search of it, and this seemed like a neat way to team up with others who might be doing the same thing.

I never dreamed that the group would EVER become so successful, so popular, and so important to other members of dA. I was filled with mixed emotions: proud, excited, and inspired for the group; and guilty that I wasn't investing in it as much as I felt I should. It was with this in mind that I started asking around if anyone would like to nominate another user to take charge of the group. There were a few very worthy nominations, one of whom expressed a willingness to step up.

From the very beginning, Dani (CindarellaPop) has been right in the forefront of all of my interactions with the group. I've seen her grow and contribute so much here, even in the little time I've managed to hide away from my work and family obligations to come spend time with the group. Her interest has fueled a substantial contribution to our community that I feel very grateful for.

Of all of the qualities I feel make CindarellaPop a good choice, her ability and willingness to take decisive action regarding what work qualifies to be accepted into our galleries stands out. Her writing on the qualities and qualifications we are looking for has become a go-to for our visitors, and her professional but firm communications with disappointed artists have been so extremely appreciated.

Her dark but whimsical sensibilities as an artist, her eloquence when discussing the Golden age of Illustration, her strong presence here in the group, and her general humor and panache make me very happy to welcome Dani up to the top.
