Hello there Golden Fox. How are you doing? I hope things are turning out better for you. So news recently came out for Mufasa: The Lion King, set in the same continuity as the 2019 Lion King movie. Generally speaking, I'm not really interested in anything related to these live action remakes and their followups, but the announcement of a certain character showing up surprised me. It's been said that Kiara will be appearing in the movie, which I find surprising. Her debut was in The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride (which is produced by Disney Toon Studios, which is generally seen as a lower tier studio by Disney executives given how elements that debuted in those movies rarely appear outside them) and her only other notable role was in The Lion Guard (which is produced by Disney Junior and Disney Television Animation, which executives also don't see as high tier studios). It's weird how Disney is using a character from a project that didn't originate from either Walt Disney Pictures or Walt Disney Animation Studios. To put it in a different way, it'd be like if Disney announced a sequel to Tangled that's produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, yet used characters from Tangled The Series (which is produced by Disney Television Animation), and just expected general audiences to know what these characters are.
