Yup, lucky for me I've got a lof of lovely returning customers<3
Another thing Is- once You develop a style some stuff will look alike- theres no helping It - look at successful managakas (bleach, naruto, dragon ball, utapri, or even some artists around DA - characters always look alike. When you see thumbnail - you know It's this person's work instantly. Even if an artist manage to make some characters look different, there will always be other characters which will be very alike (magi manga or even shaman king Is a good example).
Im pretty sure everyone once or twice while watching an anime or reading manga confused characters XD
Theres small details like eye size, or mouth width, oh how "smiley" or droopy eyes are, or even what character is supposed to make you feel - but this also limits stuff you can do with expressions later. Once you have a style It will always look same in a way - sad truth which is general manga problem. If You change It too much, Your art will start loosing style D;
It Is also difficult to experiment on commissions- people who commission me expect similar result of stuff I usually do (handsome sexy menz!
) so I usually stay around this safe zone to not get complaints later ;D
On the other hand I can draw realistic stuffs at work which do not bind me - but I definately like manga more, even If It gets repetitive sometimes :'D
