Chapter 4: The Intruder It was a stormy evening on the Boiling Isles, with dark clouds blanketing the skies over the Owl House. Inside, Luz started recording on her phone, zooming in on King’s eye. “And here we have the most fearsome creature in the world, the King of Demons, facing his natural enemy, the ducky sock,” Luz narrated, as if she were making a documentary, in a British accent. She zoomed out to show King struggling to get the sock off his nose before ripping it apart with his feet. He stood up and tore off the rest, stomping on the pieces.
“Where are you now, ducky sock?!” He slammed his fists on the remnants.
Hunter rolled his eyes with a soft laugh from his spot on the sofa. He wore a pair of headphones from the Human Realm and was reading one of his Cosmic Frontier books. He was as obsessed with the series as Luz was with The Good Witch Azura.
