A lot of people seem to ask the same questions for Pixel Sprite Montage, so here’s a FAQ! How many of you who come here to read this is likely to be low, but hey ho!
Q: Did you make these by yourself?
A: Yes, I did. And if any of the sprites looks somewhat like the sprite of origin, it’s not my fault I have a good eye for detail.
Q: Do you take requests?
A: Yes, I do. In order for me to be stress-free in finding stuff, can I ask you to give me a pixelated reference of some sort?
Q: How long have you worked on this?
A: As of April 21, 2015, 3 years.
Q: When is this going to be finished?
A: There are 2 possibilities in what will make this deemed finished:
1: If I decide myself that I give up completely.
2: If I have none of my ideal references left.
Q: What program do you use to make these?
A: Microsoft Paint XP
Q: What is the description?
A: It would be a list of all of the sprites featured in my project, but DeviantArt decides to limit the description size to 64kb, & apparently, the list is bigger than that.
Q: You have everything on this, don’t you?
A: Nah, there’s still some things I have to add.
Q: Can I use [sprite/sprites] for [whatever]?
A: Sure! Just give me credit by linking back to this.
Q: Can I download this?
A: Uh…sure, just don’t post it somewhere & claim it as your own…
Q: Can I feature this on my [social media platform]?
A: Sure! I love features! Makes me feel blessed!
Q: Why is this not a DD (Daily Deviation?)
A: I dunno…a lot of people think it should be…and if you are one of those people, recommend it dammit! I can’t recommend it myself!
Q: You have a lot of patience, don’t you?
A: I do…but I just have too much free time…that’s the problem.
Q: Can I add something?
A: Sorry, but I’m not willing to collaborate with anyone. I really do appreciate it, but I’ve created everything, & always will do.
Q: Do you want any help?
A: I don’t need help. The only thing I’ll be willing to have help with is decent enough references for future drawing ideas, y’know?
Q: How many drawings do you want on this?
A: Well, I don’t know. I wanted to do 100…but that was done in 17 days. I then wanted 1,000; which I got on Sept. 28, 2014, & my goal’s now 10,000; which I’m 75%+ of the way to achieving.
Q: Can I use some of this for Minecrafts/hama/perler bead creations?
A: Sure! Just like everything of mine, give me credit!

Q: How long does it take to draw a single sprite?
A: It depends on the difficulty. Sometimes it’s a matter of seconds, minutes, or even hours. If you really need to know, it took me approximately 9 hours to draw Flandre Scarlet (the girl on the cake) & 5 hours to draw Sora from Kingdom Hearts (guy holding a key-like weapon (yes, I know it’s called a Keyblade), at the near top left), while simple sprites like the Like Icon from Facebook took me around 40 seconds & the first of the many balloons I have on here took about 10-20 seconds. I probably average around 20-30 minutes on a sprite now due to a lot of intermediate sprites being on here.
