I'm an artist born and raised in Texas who's super into creating sacred art and geometry. What do I mean by "sacred art and geometry"? It just simply means art that explores all things divine and spiritual.

Raised in a dysfunctional devout Catholic family, I want to gain insight on the psychology behind power struggles, censorship, and the role of the Ego. After my father's death and leaving my family, I started to see a common pattern in other people's dysfunctional relationships as well as my own: “I'm not good enough.” Seeing how common this was, I want to find out how this pattern affects our relationship to ourselves, to others, to a community, and everything else. Why are we willing to give our power away so freely?

I also want to learn how divinity plays a role in our lives. Why do we call on a higher power in our darkest hours? Why have we done this since the dawn of humankind? Is there a higher power out there? Does it really work the way we think it does? Are we divine beings too? If so, how can we tap into our inner divine power – our Higher Selves? Can we use this to reverse the destructive patterns from dysfunction that have been passed down from generation to generation?

These are all questions I want to explore.

Oooh. I thought it'd be fun to do this to walk down memory lane. So here we go!

1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?

It says I've been on here for 10 years, but I've been using this account on and off. I created this account when I was 13 and then used it for about two years before I stopped and used it intermittently. Then I started using it again a little bit before starting my freshman year in college to keep up with some artists I met through an art forum, Polykarbon. This was about a year before I used the account intermittently again. Then, I didn't use it again 'til
after I graduated college to upload work for a professional portfolio.

So I'd say, really, a total of 4 and 1/2 years.

2. What does your username mean?

It was named after the Greek goddess of retribution, Nemesis. I meant to make an illustration of her when I first started this account, but . . .

3. Describe yourself in three words.

sweets-lovin' artist. Who doesn't love good nom noms?

4. Are you left or right handed?

5. What was your first deviation?

Hahahahaha. Wow. This was originally for a Neopets art contest about 11 years ago.

7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

Kazuma Kaneko's style and the general SMT art direction, hands down.

8. What was your first favourite?

One of the first, to be fair.

9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?

Usually watercolor pieces or traditional art in general.

10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

This is tough. I can't narrow it down to just one. So, I'm going to list my top 4 5 favorite deviant artists and my favs from them:

11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

I don't think I've gotten that impression yet. It depends. Are they pretty down-to-earth and cool to hang out with? B-)

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

Not sure yet. We'll see though. :)

13. What are your preferred tools to create art?

Watercolors and casein paint. Also plasticine clay and Sculpey whenever I get the chance. Oh, and I would love to go back to my jewelry and metal work roots.

14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

New temporary art room at my house. I would love to work outdoors if I could, but not in this heat.

15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?

Seeing artists that I suggested for the recent Daily Deviation Drive get on the front page! Give a big thanks to :iconliliwrites: for creating the event!
