Drawing always gives me life. Feeling stressed out and frustrated in the real life, I basically draw my favorite anime characters or whatever characters got me interested. That's the only time when I can stay in my own world, not being distracted by annoying stuff and people. I also love to see and observe other artists' art regardless of fandoms and nationality. Especially the art by artists who are a lot better then mine. Their art just..how should I put this...hmm, fills me with a sense of awe, yes kinda divine. Coloring, compositions, and facial expressions...everything is done perfect.
Nowadays, some people really care about evaluations from other people. For me, I used to do but now, not that much. Because I have realized at some point, that those evaluations and the number of RTs (likes) don't necessarily determine your art itself but you should be the one who do that. If you always rely on how people evaluate, eventually you would be drawing for those not for yourself. What you draw is how you project yourself, and how you see the world, and not to mention, yourself. I don't want to lend my ears to people who try to bring me down just because they don't like my art (no explanations and reasons are just bullshit) but rather, I listen to people who appreciate my art and show their respect. To be honest, I don't need much attentions and complements as long as I can draw what I want, but if someone happens to see my art on somewhere, I hope it will make he feel drawing too. I want my art to be an inspiration not to be evaluated.
What are you drawing for?
This is a simple question but difficult to answer for some reason. Probably, this should be the final question after I accomplished lots of things in art.
Thank you for reading.
