“What I loved the most about creating this piece was playing around with the blood-themed abilities of the Necromancer - blood siphoning really sounded like an awesome concept to explore, and I ran with it!”

“Right after seeing Necromancer’s Grace of Inarius Set I couldn't help but stare at him with sparkling eyes whispering “so glorious yet so devilish"! And so I wanted to make him look like this - a godlike OP leader with his deadly army. You're doomed.”

“I’m a big fan of Diablo III, I even have an artbook for this game, so this project gave me a lot of fun. The character perfectly suits my taste, great respect for the artists who made the character and armor designs for the game. In my artwork I wanted to convey the dynamic battle of the female version of Necromancer in the gloomy setting of the first act of the game. I also want to note how much I like Khazra, they remind me of Krampus from the old Christmas legends. Such multi-figure compositions are a novelty for me, so I hope that I coped with the task!”

“I loved the look of the plague armor set, especially the birdlike mask that was influenced by the classic Black Death doctor mask. For my piece I went with a limited color palette, and created a colorful contrast between the neutral scenery and the magical mass of bones that are being summoned for this Army of the Dead spell.”

“Being a fan of Diablo and the use of elemental powers, I jumped at the chance to illustrate the new necromancer! I Just love this armour set and had so much fun with the ornate details of luscious red and gold! I tried to contrast Diablo’s scolding heat with cool lighting from the elemental attacks. Also… Glowing stuff is simply awesome!”

“I was a big fan of Diablo II a long time ago - I played everyday! The Necromancer was one of my favorite classes and I am so excited to see it return for Diablo III!”
