3dgladiators is back and is relaunching for new voyages, that right for those who remember this old CGI modelling forum is now back up, I was again in touch after a long time with Darrell, after a rough year has is now able to focus on the forum. On site, he writes: “After a disastrous last year plus, 3DG is back! It’s under a slightly different domain now (.net instead of .com), so update links/bookmarks! The COM domain was lost due to being unable to renew it at the time. But that’s just as well… We’re more of a network anyway!” Hope to see some old faces return, Blogs are all well and good, but its l

Star Trek  The Armageddon Clock by Dan Baran and Gerard Duffy other wise known as The fan film that never happened!! I have posted from time to time comments with images relating to a Star Trek fan film, this is the story idea that I worked on as a background story to the main one, Dan had some great idea but I felt the story needed a connection to the series, this was it.. warts and all. we agreed more than we disagreed.. Sadly Dan passed away suddenly on the 14 July 2013,  I lost a good friend and fellow imaginer, this was our most fully worked out project and in some-way it keeps that part of the dream alive When I got to know Dan

Both Halcyon MK1 and MK2 are available to buy, they are not textured and only available in Lightwave3d for now, if I texture more time, greater the cost. Of course there is also the early version of the Ranger and Kilkenny Interplanetary ship and the McCall design but limited amount per engagement with McCall's Daughter.. once they are gone that's it.. and of course my Nautilus build.. All but the McCall design are royalty free to use in art or animation etc.. The designs are temporally of line while I update them.. in Lightwave to include scene files ships lighting mainly

Thank you for the fave, much appreciate it! Have a nice time and stay safe! :)

I loved the ships.

you captured something I would like to do myself, ""far beyond"" my skills. I am a fan of Hornblower novels and Aubrey too. so I appreciate what you have done

Let me know if I can help you. I know the feeling, I hav many ideas I cannot fullfill cause of lack of skill. :shakefist:

cheers, I am more modeller than renderer, not not very good with textures, most of my work does not have any, apart from internal control panels like this.

But I do love to see tall ships at sea art and real when I can.. top work again
