I just Looked up your thingamajig. Seems to be exactly what I was going on about in the above comment. However, the software you have isn't mentioned on the whatchamacallit's website. The only software listed is CyberLink PowerDirector 5 and CyberLink PowerProducer 4. Apparently, neither of these are compatable with Windows 7.
I couldn't find anything useful on the PowerDirector 7, but apparently technology marches on... PowerDirector 10 is out, so maybe you have outdated software.

If I were to rout audio/visual signals. To a laptop screen, I'd probably start with finding cable adapters that went from those yellow-red-white plugs to something a computer would accept, like a USB or HDMI.
As for your Kworld doodad, I've. Never heard of those. My best guess would be to contact customer support.
