Girtarion, Arsenal Kill Bot

During the last days of mankind's civilization, these kill bots were the proverbial last nail in the coffin. Their initial appearance on the battlefield at the start of the war against Tiamat is what earned the dragon the name of the goddess. Like the goddess, who commanded an army of scoprion men against the gods, Tiamat commands these scropion bots against mankind and The Divine Golems. Drawing from the parrallels, humanity named the dragon Tiamat, and it's minnions Girtarions.

Though humanity named them 'Giratrion' based on the Girtablilu, these ancient automatons of destruction are part of the alien made Arsenal war machine. Arsenal is a self replicating war machine built to battle the Zetaro Empire's conquest of Galaxy G-88 billions of years ago. Arsenal's creators had dimensional transition technology available to them, and constructed Arsenal in higher dimensional space. Before the juggernaut could be fully activated, The Zetaro wiped out it's creators, leaving the ancient warmachine adrift in higher dimensional space, it's only purpose to gather resources and replicate itself.

Billions of years later, Tiamat locates Arsenal and activates it to aid in the war against humanity. By the time Tiamat discovers Arsenal, it has grown to the size of a galaxy. It houses trillions of weapons within it's gargantuan frame, from virus sized nano extinguishers, all the way up to star bursting positron cannons more than five times the mass of Earth.

For Tiamat's purposes in the war against humanity, only Girtarion kill bots were needed. They vary in size from a few feet tall, to several meters tall. These machines personally hunted humanity down, until all that remained of the species was confined and shielded by Phoenix in the city of Bastion.
