Come ye sinners poor and needy Weak and wounded...
Come, ye sinners poor and needy,
Weak and wounded, sick and sore,
Jesus ready stands to save you,
Full of pity, love and power;
He is able,
He is willing, doubt no more.
Let not conscience make you linger,
Nor of fitness fondly dream;
All the fitness He requireth
Is to feel your need of Him.
This He gives you,
'Tis the Spirit's rising beam.
Come, ye weary, heavy-laden,
Lost and ruined by the fall;
If you tarry till you're better,
You will never come at all.
Not the righteous,
Sinners Jesus came to call.
I will arise and go to Jesus,
He will embrace me in His arms;
In the arms of my dear Savior,
Oh, there are ten thousand charms.

Rewind to 1809-1892...The Eagle
The Eagle Related Poem Content Details
BY ALFRED, LORD TENNYSON (1809–1892)
---------------------------------------
He clasps the crag with crooked hands;
Close to the sun in lonely lands,
Ring'd with the azure world, he stands.
The wrinkled sea beneath him crawls;
He watches from his mountain walls,
And like a thunderbolt he falls.

The Spell of the Yukon
The Spell of the Yukon
BY ROBERT W. SERVICE
I wanted the gold, and I sought it;
  I scrabbled and mucked like a slave.
Was it famine or scurvy—I fought it;
  I hurled my youth into a grave.
I wanted the gold, and I got it—
  Came out with a fortune last fall,—
Yet somehow life’s not what I thought it,
  And somehow the gold isn’t all.
No! There’s the land. (Have you seen it?)
  It’s the cussedest land that I know,
From the big, dizzy mountains that screen it
  To the deep, deathlike valleys below.
Some say God was tired when He made it;
  Some say it’s a fine land to shun;
Maybe; but there’s some as would trade it
  For no land on earth—and I’m one.
You come to get rich (damned good reason);
  You feel like an exile at first;
You hate it like hell for a season,
  And then you are worse than the worst.
It grips you like some kinds of sinning;
  It twis

Rewind to 1839-1882 Bellbirds - by Henry Kendall
Bellbirds
By channels of coolness the echoes are calling,
And down the dim gorges I hear the creek falling:
It lives in the mountain where moss and the sedges
Touch with their beauty the banks and the ledges.
Through breaks of the cedar and sycamore bowers
Struggles the light that is love to the flowers;
And, softer than slumber, and sweeter than singing,
The notes of the bell-birds are running and ringing.
The silver-voiced bell birds, the darlings of daytime!
They sing in September their songs of the May-time;
When shadows wax strong, and the thunder bolts hurtle,
They hide with their fear in the leaves of the myrtle;
When rain and the sunbeams shine mingled together,
They start up like fairies that follow fair weather;
And straightway the hues of their feathers unfolden
Are the green and the purple, the blue and the golden.
October, the maiden of bright yellow tresses,
Loiters for love in these cool wildernesses;
Loiters, knee-deep, in the grasses, to listen,
Where dripping rocks gl

GRACE is the sweetest sound
GRACE is the sweetest sound -by Thomas Kelly (1769-1854)
1 GRACE is the sweetest sound
That ever reached our ears;
When conscience charged and justice frowned,
'Twas grace removed our fears.
2 'Tis freedom to the slave,
'Tis light and liberty;
It takes its terror from the grave,
From death its victory.
3 Grace is a mine of wealth
Laid open to the poor;
Grace is the sovereign spring of health;
'Tis life for evermore.
4 Of grace then let us sing,
A joyful, wondrous theme,
Who grace has brought, shall glory bring,
And we shall reign with Him.
5 Then shall we see His face
With all the saints above,
And sing for ever of His grace,
For ever of His love.

Ere God had built the mountains
Ere God had built the mountains,
or raised the fruitful hills;
Before He filled the fountains
That feed the running rills;
In Thee, from everlasting,
The wonderful I AM
Found pleasures never wasting,
And Wisdom is Thy name.
When like a tent to dwell in,
He spread the skies abroad,
And swathed about the swelling
of ocean's mighty flood,
He wrought by weight and measure;
And Thou wast with Him then:
Thyself the Father's pleasure,
And Thine, the sons of men.
And couldst Thou be delighted
With creatures such as we,
Who, when we saw Thee, slighted
And nail'd Thee to a tree?
Unfathomable wonder!
And mystery divine!
The voice that speaks in thunder
Says, "Sinner, I am thine!"

Hey, yo!

Not doing much right now. I do stuff when I get the inspiration. Most often I'm not writing anything or doing art.
But I still, once in a while, do Photography, computer illustrations and whatever else I can think of. I Don't always have time for art but when I do I mess around with iteration programs like Fractal Explorer. Or I mess with photography in Adobe Photoshop on my own photos. I've used and still use Adobe Illustrator too. Terragen is another fun program (like a 3d landscape program). I also like just sketching ideas out on paper too.

I enjoy the work of Ansel Adams (b/w photos), Jim Brandenburg (shot for national geographic), M.C. Escher, Salvador Dali and Albert Bierstadt.

Music artists I've enjoyed:
Vangelis, Loreena McKennitt, John Anderson, Paul Horn, Mike Oldfield, Steve Green

Some of my fav Cartoons: Calvin&Hobbes, Dilbert, Zits

Writers: Jack London, JRRTolken

Films: Ducksoup, PinkPanther(70's)

Shows: Life, Psych, Human Target, John Doe
