The Vegeta FANART revisited, 10 years later.
would you like something like that? send me a note :3
Now this will look different, BECAUSE IT IS!
I did this piece for Advertising around May 2018.
This was done for Kitchen Club through an advertising agency. I'm only showing the central composition of it here, and I included detail images.
This was painted completely in Photoshop, creating each character from scratch using a lot of photo pieces in a very frankenstein-esque way. Then, I used that as a reference to re-draw on top, and paint everything in a new way, adjusting the lighting, colors, etc.
The goal was to resemble the style of classic 80's movie posters, and in a way, the method is very similar to what was done using analogue tools, so I finally got the chance to take a lot of inspiration from mr. Drew Struzan, who happens to be one of my very favorite artists. I can do no less than thank him for all the inspiration his amazing work has always given us.
Of course I didn't try to replicate him, but I was very happy learning some new tricks.
Download the full size so you can take a nice look to it
THANKS EVERYBODY FOR THE DAILY DEVIATION!
