Hello there!

My name's Giusy and so you may have probably guessed from my gallery, I'm an hobbyist costume maker

Sewing is one of my biggest passions, and I've recently gotten into hand embroidery I usually build my dresses from pattern to final stitches, it's such a relaxing process! I use commercial patterns for corsets and historical underpinnings, but I'm studying to learn how to make them too

I can speak Italian (my mother tongue), English and Japanese, and I'm learning French and Chinese, so feel free to get in touch the way you prefer!

My office job (I'm a logistic manager) is a little time consuming at the moment so I might reply to faves and comments late, but I do read all your notes, comments and faves! They mean so much to me and make me incredibily happy

OMG has it really been 2 years since I last posted?? /(O______O)\ Looks like it has, and I'm so happy I decided to come back! A lot has happened in these 2 years, and I have to speak frankly, it was a conscious decision to stay away from DA for some time. I LOVE this platform and it has been a very important part of my creative growth, but in the last period of 2017 I spent here I got creeped out a lot, and took the painful but needed decision to wait for the situation to get better. I have been monitoring the evolution of the platform, and I now feel confident I can finally get back to an environment where I can connect with fellow crafters and artist to further enchance my creative life :heart: So expect some few weeks with LOTS of posts...I have two years of creations to post XXD and, you can see I'm alive and well in a pretty recent photo XD I also have been travelling a lot, so I might post some journals about those experiences too:heart: So good to be back!!
