2014 update Servant and other stuff

The last quarter of the year 2013 really put me through the wringer. Not only have my long term personal plans been derailed (including a sadly aborted engagement), but my creative and professional development have also suffered. Not least of which is Servant, as my hard drive crashed and even my backups went the way of the dodo. No amount of preparation will work if life really wants to kick you in the gonads.Anyway, after some period of depression, I'm getting back up. The pace is slow, and there's still challenges ahead, but at least I'm out of the personal pit dug for me. Starting from scratch, I redesigned my characters. It's the firs...

You're welcome. And thank you for the kind words. Funny thing, I've been here almost since Deviantart started and have about a fraction of what "popular" artists get in terms of attention (and likely even less commissions haha).

Aww... yeah, the struggle is REAL! I just hope I won't have to go to such extremes to get recognised! On the other hand I'm a really young artist who has some talent! My advice is just do what makes your heart and soul sing. Learn the basics and fundamentals (especially anatomy). It's only by learning these that you can push the limits while still making it look good. And don't be discouraged by critiques (or criticism). And don't stop chugging forward. You only fail if you stop by your own accord.



I have a lot of favorites, but if it were a top 5, it would be Superman, Batman, Iron Man, Thor, and Spider-man (Peter).
