Cutie Mark Crusaders by Githgulcag Cutie Mark Crusaders by Githgulcag
This is definitely my best sculpture thus far. It also took forever to make but it was worth it.

Sculpted out of ProCreate Sculpting Putty and painted with acrylics.

Oh damn! You noticed that blade of grass. :D
It is very crucial support since without it this sculpture would collapse.

Thanks for your comment.

When people put tremendous effort into the details then the least I can do is study it thoroughly. :evillaugh: You did a fantastic job selecting the views too. :)

Holy shit this is amazing! The details and the expressions and movements! Not to mention, it looks like Scootaloo might break off! How is she floating there?

Thanks!
Making this sculpture was pretty much a constant fight against gravity. It has many fragile points so it must be handled very carefully.

My god, it's splendid. Really a great work. =)

Uhm, I was thinking... Are you going to make others? Because I seriously considering the idea of buying one, in case. :D

Worth it, indeed. I'm absolutely amazed at the level of detail you got in this. Even the ground and plants! I can literally count the atoms on each blade of grass, it's that intricate.

This is the best one so far! I love how dynamic it is and how well you've captured the ponies' expressions. If I wasn't so busy being broke all the time I'd definitely beg you to sell me this mini! :D
I see you're using a different putty than Green Stuff. How are you finding it?

Thanks!

It's great. It is nearly like green stuff but ProCreate is less sticky, holds sharper detail, and smooths more easily.

I don't really know. I bought my sculpting putty long time ago from a webstore that doesn't exist anymore. I've been looking for a new place to buy it but it seems to be out of stock everywhere.
I guess the best option might be ordering it directly from Kraftmark: [link]

Y'know, these are actually pretty easy to make. All it takes is some clay... paint... a can of "defy gravity" spray...

Nice work

Wondering what medium the base is from. Malifaux, Warmachine, Warhammer 40k, or Infinity.

and wondering how you got the amazing detail on their eyes at that small a scale
