This one will be placed in my kitchen!!!
Italians love their coffee and even if I'm a tea person, I can understand why coffee's so popular in Italy. There are more than 50 types of coffe, the ones I painted are only more popular, I believe.
What is your favourite type?

Made with watercolours and coffe (of course) on Canson Montval paper.
Some QUICK explanations:
Espresso - 30 ml
Doppio - 60 ml
Ristretto - 20 ml
Al Ginseng - (Asia) It's similar to caffè latte, with ginseng extract
Doppio Ristretto - 30 ml
Corto - 35 ml
Macchiato - with a little bit of milk
Con Fettina d'Arancia - with a slice of orange
All'anice - flavoured with anice
Schiumato - Coffe macchiato where milk foam is added on top
Lungo - 60 ml - it's obtained by making a overxtratcted shot (more ater flows through the gounded coffe)
Doppio Lungo 120 ml
Melange - (Viena) or melange viennense, it is a shot of lungo plus steamed milk and foam.
Alla nocciola - flavoured with nuts or you add a small spoon of Nutella to a espresso shot
Corretto - with grappa (a spirit made of grapes)
Shakerato - espresso with sugar shaken together with ice in a cocktail saker
Caffé Latte - espresso (1/2) plus steamed milk (1/2) - with or without foam
Napoletano - made in the napolitan coffe machine
Con panna - with whipped cream
D'Orzo - without caffeine, derived from toasted barley
Affogato - espresso served over vanilla ice cream
Viennense - sweetened iced coffe, melted chocolate, coffe liquor, ice cream and whipped cream
In Crema - (Swiss?Austria Italy border) it's longer than a Lungo, generally twice as long - 180 ml
Americano - espresso plus hot water using equal parts each.
Del Marinaio - espresso made with water and rum served with a lemon peel
Imperiale: orange liquor, espresso and whipped cream
Irish Coffe - sweetened coffe, irish whiskey and whipped cream on top
Mocaccino - cappuccino, whipped cream, drinking chocolate and foam
Cappuccino - 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk, 1/3 foam
Brasiliano - espresso, cocoa, shugar and cream, foam and cocoa on top
Marrochino - a shot of expresso over frothed whole milk
Al Pepe - with peper
Allo Zenzero - with ginger
Bicerin - (Torino) lays of espresso, drinking chocolate and whole milk
Con ghiaccio - sweetened espresso, the ice is added before you drink it
Alla Turca: prepared with finely poedered roast coffe beans boiled in a pot with added sugar.
Miele e Cannella - Honey and Cinnamon
Sospeso - (Napoli) litteraly, a coffee "in suspense" - as sign of good fortune. When a sospeso is ordered the customer pays for 2 coffees, but only gets one. That way, when a person who is homeless or otherwise down on their luck walks into the café, the person can ask if there are any coffees held in suspense, and can have one as a courtesy of the first customer.
