The Fella Contest ended and while we didn't get as many entries as we were hoping for, there are some great ones though. Big thanks to everyone who took the time to work on an entry. Right now the judging is still in progress. So stay tuned! :la:

Already a while ago I gave another PE week for dAr some thoughts. While i already have a list of what can be done and what not, i would really appreciate if you let me know what you would like to see - or in case you want to contribute what you would like to work on.
In can be interviews, features, informational articles: whatever your heart desires!
It won't happen before mid-May though (as it involves lots of planning and writing as well). April is always a busy month for me. It's like there is a birthday every third day. But it only means cake, which is good.

Oh, and tell me would you be interested in "regular" chat events? I think the last one was good fun, but i won't come up with nice trivia questions all the time, so maybe having critique or random events as well? What do you think?

Beside the things you can read in the latest CR newsletter there hasn't been that much happening regarding CV changes lately. Astralseed and tinybreeann decided to take care of the Digital Art gallery as well though. So better stalk watch those ladies if you like Digital Art :eyes:

And thank sterbenlicht for his time as a CV, he is now in seniorland :hug:

Contests and Projects you should join:
There are a bunch of April 1st contests you should totally join! And better hurry, because they all have a short deadline. Not to mention that they are all fun!

Regarding the potential dA-related PE week, it might be a good idea to write an article or two giving an overview of each of the sub galleries. With the dAr gallery being so diverse, I think a lot of people don't know about all of the categories of art that it contains. (There are also a ton of mis-cats in there, but that's an issue that should probably be saved for another day.)

As far as I can recall, I think there have been quite a few skinning, pixeling, and stamp-making tutorials in the last few years. Maybe we could give more of an emphasis to adoptables this time around if you do go through with the PE week? For the brief time that I was in the adoptable community, it seemed like it was a really large community, and I think tutorials on how to get involved with adoptables, what they even are, how to make good ones, etc. would be beneficial to many people. 

As for contributing, I'm always happy to help out for PE weeks, but I don't think I'm qualified to write about anything other than CSS. :XD:
