Please do not send me any more DD suggestions.All remaining days/spots have been filled and I would have to decline them anyways. You might want to consider keeping your suggestions for the next dAr or Icons CV. Or you could note ikazon, who takes suggestions for dAr as well.
Before you are going to suggest a DD to me, make sure you read and understand how to do it. If you follow these things it will make organizing a little easier for me and avoids confusion.
If there are any questions, contact me.
- Make sure the deviant you are suggesting did not receive a DD during the past 6 months.
- Only suggest deviations you can find in the deviantART related category. Exceptions can be made for dA tutorials or general Fella/llama related art.
- Right now you can also suggest deviations from the Icons category to me.
- Suggest one deviation per note.
- Your note should be titled with "DD Suggestion".
- Please add thumbs and not links of the suggested deviation.
- I like you to add a description of why you think that the deviation be featured as a DD. It's not mandatory, but it is nice for the person to know what you like about it. Also it helps me to see what you see.
- You can suggest your own works!
- If you are not happy with a DD, talk about it with me. Not on the deviation, where I might not see it, but via note, mail or as a comment on my profile.
- Credits are required to be able to give a DD for dA related as well. If I am unsure or something is not mentioned, even though I know third-party resources have been used, I will not feature it.
What to credit? Stamp templates, brushes, textures, stock images, code snippets etc
I am not going to feature the following (personal rule)
- filled out memes ( I might make exception if REALLY impressive)
- stamps featuring or supporting personal things (illnesses, contests, sales etc)
- custom widget resources based on default dA code (exception for tutorials)
I read all suggestions I get, but usually do not reply, unless I was the wrong person to send them to or there have been any other reasons that featuring is not possible.
I think that time spent for replying is better used for other things. In case you feel like you want to know if something gets featured(or why not) or if you want to get notified after it got featured, please include that in your note.
I am human and that means I make mistakes. Usually I always check deviations I am going to feature as a DD several times, but I can overlook things.
If you spot a DD - featured by me - that is a copyright infringement or if there are any other issues with it, please note me about it. Do nothing else, no bad comments, no arguments. Any problems should be discussed with me or moonbeam13.
