About a year ago I took this picture
It was taken on top of the monsoon palace, in Udaipur (Rajasthan, India).
The picture of the just born little wild monkey in the arms of his mother, made me feel like this is a story of a legacy a mother is leaving her youns son. And so I wrote the words:
Don't look now
I'm here, little one.
Hear my voice
Take comfort in my arms
Hide in me, little one
Can you feel the wind?
Can you see the sky?
Can you breathe the air?
Do you know why?
You don't, little one
You will, one day.
Little one,
Don't look now
But the world is yours
One day
A wonderful composer & arranger I admire - AMIT POZNANSKY decided to make this lyrics into a song. He played me a sketch of it and I loved it.
It took him about 6 months to make a recording with a female singer and mix it the way he wanted, and its finally done.
