I sit in the shadows,
Staring at the clouds
Trying to piece thoughts together
Of what I am and why am I
Through the clouds the sun comes,
Hard to believe it's the same sun as back home
Where I never used to think about those things
Like what I am and why am I
The camera keeps it real,
Helps me remember this soon will be a photographed memory
The questions fade away into silence,
Between this earth and that sky
I think I know what I am
Still no clue why am I

I totally agree with you, as soon as you get out of place, or you go to a place that is not your natural sphere, you start realizing how small you are, and how big the world is, and in private- the mother nature. Alas, many people forget what they are, or even why they are...and become megalomaniacs. Uhm I can talk more but I just wanted to say that I love this photograph. As usual, you make a point that's really important with it.
i really enjoy the use of the positive and negative space in this piece. There pattern of the sky almost make it seem like positive space at first but then you see the building in the right corner and realize that it's the background. It toyed with my eye for a few seconds there, i like that. wonderful shot.
