Sorry this journal is so long and messy. ;v;''' Until the actual event is underway I'm not going to be worrying about rounds* since things can change, Elnin get traded, etc. (already had to remove two plans since the nins got traded away, rip) so I'll be listing these as potential partners in the meantime! _{*The round listings under partners are for my own reference of what others have put down for their pairs. I have some priority pairs but I'm still keeping it semi-open until the event opens!}

I'm not sure if I can get Waynoka and Akilah grown in time but Suiko definitely will be as she's all planned out and has everything earned! If I can't get them ready for kitsunami I'd absolutely want to try for future breedings when those open though!

Kai is a huuuge adventurer who's always up for somewhere new and exciting to explore! It was his dream as a kit to see the world and he set off pretty early after he turned over every rock and leaf he could find in his home of Strynhalde. He's only recently become an adult and settling down in one area hasn't even crossed his mind yet.

He's pretty active and full of energy but also has a kind and level demeanor that aids him well in handling the more fiery types of companions. At heart he's a big lovable goof filled with curiosity and always stops to appreciate the little things in life. Very much a "take life one day at a time" type. The only time he shows any level of seriousness is in crisis situations and when it comes to those dearest to him. Kai isn't easy to anger though and can be fairly appeasing to those he cares about. He just wants everyone to get along and be happy if he can help it!

Suiko is the polar opposite of her father; very shy, quiet, soft-spoken, and has an air of delicateness about her. She's been very coddled by her dad as he can be a bit overprotective of her at times. She loves Kai dearly but often gets annoyed and argues with him when he becomes too overbearing. She's longed to see the world for herself since she's only heard about it through Kai's stories and has been known to sneak off and explore, especially with an encouraging accomplice.

Being incredibly naive she's especially oblivious when it comes to matters of love. Though she's had no shortage of interested suitors they almost always come out discouraged or heartbroken because she simply does not notice their advances, even when direct. She has a big heart but is often a bit cold initially until she's had time to get used to someone.

Originally from the Palu'au islands she has a strong affinity to the ocean and deep connections to the stars and wind, heeding omens and predictions and voicing them openly. Her fellow islanders regarded her as a sort of prophet always respecting her tellings of fortunes or dangers. The combination of her confidence, compassion, and collected nature instills trust and hope in others making her a gifted natural leader. She carries herself with dignity and poise, often catching the eye of those passing by.

She met Kai while he spent time exploring the islands after his excursion through Kyendi. They became fast friends and eventual lovers, her calm and collected nature being a good balance to Kai's exuberant personality. He easily makes her laugh and she treasures his kindness and cheer. He has a tendency to shower her with gifts and tokens from his journeys when she isn't there to accompany him herself. Suiko was a little intimidated by her at first but they now have a bond that cannot be broken. She does all she can to support her and keeps Kai's protectiveness in check.
