Second in a series of four called Slices. By this time I've decided that the four images will be hard lined brush and ink work, as well as color. I'll be using my usual water based mediums, such as water-dyes, water-colors, Prisma colored pencils, however, I want to experiment with the color in some different ways than I've tried in the past. We'll see.
Some thoughts about this image includes: instead of "balls of energy" floating around her (and a primarily light background), each globe is a planet or world, including the one behind her. That could be cool! I'm not particularly fond of cross-hatching on faces, but, when done correctly, does have a nice texture of shadow to it.
Three and Four coming up. I want to pencil all the images before I come back to ink them. For me, it will be easier to keep consistency of style with the ink amongst all four if they are inked in the same time frame.

Damn. This is good work mate. I realy like the parts where you did actually NOT drawn lines to emphasize the orbs or snowballs and the lightning. Realy gives the drawing a nice dimension/depth, it would not have gotten with just more lines to add depth. Nice technique. The lineart is top notch as usual. Only minor detail I might mention is her left eyeball. That tiny white dent makes it look a little edged. But oh boy, I allready feel bad for nitpicking mate. Instant
