Daybreak

This landscape was liberating to sculpt in the way that Flowscape allowed me to play with light, shadow, and composition. I possess only slightly more than zero ability to visualize within my head. It's almost all words in here. I can't even imagine what two colors will look like side-by-side. I can imagine, say, the color blue, but if I try to add in the color yellow, the blue disappears the moment that yellow comes into focus. Even intimately familiar faces only flit briefly across my mind before vanishing back into the fog of memory, so my canvas also serves as the visual work space that my brain lacks. Tools that allow me to revise easily and endlessly are a crucial part of my creative process.
