The Holiday Happenings 2020
-It's busy times so I won't be doing as much shoutouts. Will resume after Holidays.
-I still have this poll happening: DiD POLL VIII; I won't move on to the next one until I have about 200 votes with said Poll (hint, next poll involves Kunoichis).
-I have a new Poll: Future Commissions; just gauging what's up with everyone these days. Doesn't mean I'll go the popular route.
If I don't talk and/or post as much, y'all have a safe one! I am working on the FFVII Remake DiD FiC so keep an eye out for that. Other than that, I really have nothing grand. Oh, a few commissions on the way and a few action figures here and there, probably!
Until Next Time!

One of the Best There is
@Rob66 has done a lot of interviews but this is clearly one of his best ones. It's about a humble and talented person named @FourPieces---about his story in this odd little side of the web. How he was discouraged but thanks to the wonderful people of the DiD community (who exists out there) helped him get back on the horse and get him where he is now.
Some interviews clearly point out the artist's love of hearing the sound of his/her fingers hitting the keyboard and the whole "me-me-me", while there are some who use it to build other people and/or build the community. Fourpieces embodies the latter. I compare it to Bret Hart's WWE Hall of Fame speech where he built other wrestlers around him rather than talk about 'how great he is'.
Really, this guy is a rare gem and deserves more love and respect. He does a ton of things for the community far more than he is given credit for. Check out this interview and his gallery. Seriously.
The Road to Commissioning by gh0st-of-Ronin, journal
The Road to Commissioning
Spoiler alert: Jessica actually broke out of the ropes canonically. Elsa wasn't there.
As a youngling, I remember seeing a lot of fantastic #DiD art way back when and wondered if someone was going to draw my favorite gals in a certain way or that kind of position. I often dreamed of having some of my favorite artists pay homage to some of the more memorable DiD scenes of comic books and video games. I had a lot of urges to 'fix certain moments' in popular tv shows that lacked or just needed a small tweak. Me, being naive and oblivious about commissions, asked and praised a "certain" popular/talented artist and kindly asked. What I got in return was a degrading and humiliating words that I was a free loader and all "his" white knights followed after with their claims.
Not my brightest moment.
Some of My Commissions through the years
Some time later, I 'sort-of' got the means to pay for a commission. I decided to contact that
FFVII 97: I beat at least 6 times; second play through almost directly after beating it for the first time.
FFVI: I beat at least 10 times; second play through was immediately after beating it for the first time.
FFT: Beat it so many times I can't recount. Second play through immediately after.
FFVIII: Beat it at least 4 times; waited a few months for my second play through.
FFIX: Beat once. Never replayed it; never will again.
FFX: Beat so many times I can't recount. Second play through had a break because of life, but as soon as I can, I jumped into second play through in preparation for X-2.
FFX-2: Beat it more times than FFX. Immediately jumped into my second play through.
FFXII: I only beat it recently with the PS4 rerelease. Don't have a second play through yet but I want to replay it some day.
FFXIII: Beat it at least 3 times. Between beating it for the first time and second playthrough had a few months in between.
FFXV: Beat it once. Not sure if I will go
