Uhm..... How can I say how lucky you are to get a commission this amazing ? I can't even fathom on how. So I'll say only that I am jealous of your incredible luck at getting such an amazingly made commission; and for a story cover too! Even luckier. If only I could find someone to do the same for me. But sadly, I've no means to pay for commissions I depreately want my version of Elsa to be drawn or even painted this skillfully!

A very well made image!

=) Though I do admit I am lucky and/or blessed, I'll say that a good hard work's day for a wage is a huge factor for being able to muster up some cash to pay some of the amazing artists for such commissions. Of course Kachima is an amazing artist with an impeccable touch on the Queen of Arendelle. This isn't the only commission he did for me with Elsa and won't be the last.

Words and skill put it to life and I'm glad you like! =)

Amazingly well done, I myself am looking to try and get some scenes drawn from my own story as well. In this case A scene from each chapter, drawn up, maybe painted as well ? {Even lineart is fine as long as it is realistic as this!} And yes, able to earn enough to pay for the artwork so impecably made just makes me wonder if I could ever have it done.

You see, the last three years alone, I've signed up for artists who were offering commissions for ten points, or even a follow here on deviantart. Some of them had life get in the way, one of them died I think, but only ONE of the nine different people I was able to get did anything for me {a nice little lineart headshot of one of my characters}; I'm starting to wonder if it is even worth trying to see if I can get some art done for my story. Frozen Memories.

Guess I'll have to see huh ?

I'll be the first to admit, commissions I have asked done are not cheap! Just Frozen Skyrim alone is a bundle and I have a few more ideas. It's unfortunate about your luck on commissioning; I wish you better luck with that(I truly do :) ). As far as commissioning for each chapter, that's truly up to you if you have the means and the ideas for them. I for one have plenty of ideas but have to narrow it down to a few since I cannot afford every single idea to flesh out. I already know that certain commissioned work will be used more than once and I have even made some edited pics just to save myself some cash.

The funny thing about me is that some of the chapters I have done and will do will kind of require a few commissioned work and certain commissioned work will require be to be at a certain point of the story otherwise it will be spoilers. So, we'll see where we are indeed. =)

I gotta admit, I'm sadly stuck editing screenshots from Once Upon a Time for parts concerning Elsa for certain scenes in my story, But that's really it I am afraid. If only someone could read my stories {I've two large ones on here, Project One and Frozen Memories} and offer to paint/draw a scene they really liked or something. Then I'd gladly ask them to do it. I might even ask my parents for a advance gift and borrow their credit card to buy some points. {I need, what ? 20K for one maybe two commissions ?}

It just really depends on the artist. That sounds a lot, but honestly, I don't use point system for commissioning. I just lean on using cash through paypal. My main artist, Kachima, his page says he takes points but he really doesn't so it's kind of weird. You just have to find the artist that will meet your price with the skill that impresses you. It might require some research and delving into the DA world to find this right person! Don't ever settle! =P

Well, I posted up an wanted ad in my journal; I even linked to the commission {So expertly made I wish I could buy even just ONE from my story to get done!!} But my parents warned me of not trusting many peeps on the internet, A guy offers, and then once I pay for the product, they poof, Unless I can haggle out a deal to get the final piece and be satisfied with the results will I hand over any money or points.

I just do not want to get disappointed again after four years of trying to get art made for me by people offering to do it on the forums.

Oh I understand that whole thing with internet scam. That's why I always suggest to go through artists that have a long LONG history of commissions and such. It was a gambit when I was using paypal and such but ... I did a bit of research with my artist. Some artists will only ask for payment after the sketch(half or all, depends on the artist). Those seem safer since they walked half way through the bridge before taking a payment. They have time to lose first.

As I can see he gave credit to the artist which is kachima. It was a public commission I paid for and once it was uploaded, it's fair game. Doesn't bother me as long as he gave homage to the artist who worked hard to make the drawing happen.

Thanks for the info though! You were awesome for that! :D

Ah! I must've misconstrued the true intent of your message! I thought you were warning me about an 'art thief'. I clicked on this person's link and I found it rather odd that there were plenty of recognition; I understand now that 'inspire fist' reposts pictures for 'recognition'. Again, I apologize if the 'vibe' of my message sounded 'off putting', and thank you for that message. I wish I could take more credit; I merely paid and gave reference and thought; Kachima made it all so gorgeous.

Regardless, thanks! Good day to you!
